How do I hang a wall scroll?
I have a cloth anime wall scroll, it came with two small hooks, but I don't know how to use them. If someone can tell me how to use them that would be best since I can't damage the walls in any way since I live in a college dorm.
If you can't, what's the best alternative given my situation?
Turns out, I'm an idiot, I know how to use the hooks, but again, I can't puncture the walls, what's the best alternative to nails and the like?
Only thing that I can think of is try using shipping tape. Get the clear transparent stuff that comes in a wide roll (about 3 1/2-inches wide) and sticks to just about anything. You can find it at just about any grocery store. When you are ready to remove it, pull it off very slowly using a small amount of Windex or ammonia spray to clean off any residue. If the wall paint is glossy, then it has urethane base in it and the tape shouldn't hurt it. If the paint is flat (no gloss at all) you probably shouldn't use the shipping tape on it.
There is also poster putty and poster tape that should work.
